Friends and Fans,

Dan here.  I suppose there might be a few of you wondering what Sherwood has been up to over the last year or so, and what is coming next.  Well, here it is…

For the past year, we’ve been writing our 4th album, all the while preparing for a new kind of fundraiser to raise money for the album’s production.  Increasingly, artists are utilizing fundraising sites, like Kickstarter.com, to raise the money necessary to record; we, too, have been working on launching a project that will give you guys a bunch of ways to participate, really bringing our next album to life. This project will be announced soon.

We are currently working on finishing up a new song which we intend to release this Fall as a single.

In the meanwhile, some of you may have caught wind of some of the other projects that a few of us have become involved with.  Mikey and David released a 3-song EP alongside Beth Clements and Sarah Shotwell this past May with their side project, Fialta. You can check out Fialta here: http://facebook.com/fialta and pick up the songs at http://fialta.bandcamp.com or on iTunes.
